History:

The Stiers Place was created in July 2005 to supplement existing David Ogden Stiers fansites. It's aim was to provide fans with plenty of screen caps from David's many projects. In addition to this it also had to cover the basic information about the actor. It began life as a small site on a free website host but this soon changed as the content was limited. The site moved to a different free host but the advertising banners forced on the site became annoying, it was then decided that a more permanant home was needed. It was in October of 2006 that the site moved to it's current location. The site's design varied over the first year but it always had the same dedication to David and his fans as it did from the beginning. As the first anniversary was approaching a new design was worked on to give a more professional feel. In addition to the website was the forum that was launched at the same time as the first version of the website. This would give fans the perfect opportunity to discuss the latest David news, share film reviews and just have fun with other fans.

Community Values :

The Stiers Place has always had the support of David's fans and their input and contributions are always welcomed and appreciated. It is one of the site's top priorities to please David's fans and it is for this reason that the admin is a regular participant in the forum's discussions. The forum has an expert team of staff who work hard to keep the forum running and maintain the happy community feel that is so important.
